"Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for thereby some have entertained angels unawares." (Hebrews 13:2)
Meals and hospitality certainly go together, so one aspect of the Retro-Culture Dining Room is discussing anything related to hospitality.
Meals and appointed feasts will be another topic fit to be mentioned in this room.
Furthermore, we will be looking at how a table was laid way-back-when (and what the table itself was made of), and will, by way of example, suggest tableware that does not need to be replaced every other year or so, but can be part of the family legacy, to be inherited to the progeny. Retro-Culture is about conserving, and dinnerware will make for a good example to explore the principle.
